April is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse and board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and worked as a registered nurse in women’s health for several years. April earned a Doctor of Nursing degree from the University of Central Florida and joined Altamonte Medical Group in 2023. April is passionate about patient advocacy and education. She enjoys teaching her patients and their families how to ensure they are achieving a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, exercise, and health screening. She believes that helping patients set attainable goals for the best health is crucial to building a trusting relationship between herself, as a provider, and her patients and their families.

April has been married to her husband for over 20 years and enjoys spending time with him and their three children, as well as their German Short-haired Pointer, Hudson. She and her family enjoy spending time together by running and walking and are also busy with school sports activities. April and her husband are both lifelong Floridians and grew up in the Central Florida area. When not busy attending swim meets, water polo, basketball, or cheerleading activities, they enjoy exploring new restaurants in the Orlando area.
