Alex has successfully completed a rigorous course of medical studies, and achieved certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA- C). She has been practicing here in Central Florida since 2000. She received her advanced training at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Alex completed 4 years of study and practice in the specialty area of Hematology & Oncology. She now specializes in general medicine, where she has developed an interest in the care of young adults, with emphasis on education and disease prevention. She is an advocate of maintaining a health lifestyle thorough diet, exercise and weight management. Alex is an active member of both national and regional medical societies, which promote medical education. She was raised in Miami, and is bilingual, with Spanish as her second language. She is a loyal Gator alumnus, Magic and Orlando City Soccer fan. She enjoys recreation with her young daughter, son and husband. Alex is involved in her children’s school teams, and enjoys practicing yoga.
